Emily Burns (born 22 September 1994) is a singer-songwriter originally from Rugby, England, now based in London. Her music style is influenced by artists such as Tove Lo, Kehlani, Sigrid and Banks.

After entering “Live and Unsigned” competition in 2010, Emily reached the final to perform at the Indigo02. Emily was subsequently invited to attended a masterclass at Abbey Road Studios in 2010 where she met Sir Paul McCartney and Calvin Harris. She was also introduced to Rob Cass an inhouse producer at Abbey Road Studios who immediately signed Emily to Cave Productions and subsequently released the single “Plasters, Glitter And Glue” produced and mixed by Rob Cass and Pearse MacIntyre.

She performed at numerous festivals, including a tour of the Czech Republic and appearances on two different stages at the Secret Garden Party.[3] Emily also had a slot on the BBC introducing stage at T in The Park in July 2013, which led to her being play listed on BBC Radio 1 with her release “Plasters, Glitter and Glue”.[4] Including BBC Introducing, Emily has had support from Jamal Edwards after performing on SBTV and Mahogany Sessions in 2013.

Emily started working as a receptionist at Abbey Road Studios in 2014 to support her dream of becoming a singer where she met producer Sound Of Fractures who produced her first major single “Take It Or Leave It” released in November 2016.

Emily signed to record label 37 Adventures in July 2017 and released her first single on the label “Bitch” in January 2018 followed up with her second single “Girlfriend At The Time” released in March 2018. Emily will be releasing her first EP “Seven Scenes From The Same Summer” in July 2018.

#HipHop #Rapping #Spitting

Ever since Dabbla first cut his teeth on the DnB scene back in 1996, the trajectory of his career has been headed in only one direction, thanks to a versatility and character that breeds an infectious sound; a sound which has ravaged stages and studios across the UK and Europe.

Since then he has formed two crews – Dead Players with Jam Baxter and GhostTown, who have scored two successful album releases on High Focus Records, and Problem Child with Sumgii, Dubbledge and Illaman, who have been knocking out sporadic releases on Dabbla’s co-owned Potent Funk imprint.

2016 saw the long-awaited arrival of Dabbla’s debut solo LP, Year of the Monkey, which was released to critical acclaim on High Focus Records. The album was the result of a decade’s worth of work and featured some heavy hitting tracks and videos, including Psychoville, which has since racked up over 4 millions views on YouTube.

Now he readies himself to release his sophomore solo album, Death Moves, which promises more of the quality hybrid rap shit that has earned him plaudits from fans, critics and peers alike. Six tracks from the album have already surfaced and along with their accompanying videos, they have helped push the message that Dabbla is only going to continue rising.

FEET have had quite the year. Coming out of the traps at a pace with their attention grabbing YALA Records debut 7″, Petty Thieving, the indie newcomers followed that with another much-praised release, Backseat Driver. Those early taster releases picked up a host of top quality support, including the likes of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Radio X’s John Kennedy, NME, Sunday Times Culture, DIY, Dork & The Line of Best Fit.

Whilst all juggling their final years at uni in Coventry, the band hit the road for the long hot summer of 2018, travelling the length and breadth of the UK in a tiny hatchback, for a host of key festival appearances (inc Field Day, Truck, Electric Fields, Tramlines and many more), headline shows, and more supports with their old friend Declan McKenna.

Today, FEET announce their first national headline tour, taking their raucous live show on the road for 12 dates next year that kick off in Portsmouth on 27th February, finishing in Dublin March 15th. These will also be the first live appearances with new drummer Ben (formerly of Dead Pretties).

George (Jeep), Oli, Harry, Callum & Ben are currently in the studio for the first month of recordings for their debut album, which will be released in the summer of 2019. The band are joined in the studio by producer Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Jamie T, London Grammar, Billie Marten), with the first fruits of those sessions to be revealed in January 2019.

Worldwide acclaimed as one of the best rock’n’roll emerging band, New Candys are always looking forward to be on the road. Tour in Australia in February ’18 and a recent one in US in April/May ’18 that brought the band to record a live studio session for the legendary KEXP!

“Mixing brooding psychedelia with post-punk stylings, the record captures the full intensity of their live show with devastating results.”
Drowned In Sound, 2017

Hailing from Venice, Italy, New Candys formed in 2008. Described as dark modern rock’n’roll, the band combines noisy, brooding sounds with distinct melodies and has developed a notably dynamic and symbiotic connection between their music and meticulously crafted visual imagery. The band consists of Fernando Nuti, Andrea Volpato, Alessandro Boschiero and Dario Lucchesi.

New Candys’ third and latest album “Bleeding Magenta” was released in 2017 by Fuzz Club and repressed in the United States by Little Cloud Records, followed by its European promotional tour and a performance at SpaceFest in Gda?sk. In 2018 they toured Australia playing 14 shows, headlining both Sydney and Melbourne Psych Fest and performing at the Adelaide Fringe. Next the band went on a US-Mexico tour of 18 shows plus a KEXP live session in Seattle. The American tour started with two shows in New York and proceeded along the west coast, including performances at Pappy & Harriet’s in Joshua Tree and the Highland Park Bowl in Los Angeles. Later in the summer they performed at Fuzz Club Eindhoven, headlined by The Black Angels, and supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre for both of their Italian shows. Released in 2012, their first studio album ”Stars Reach The Abyss”, mastered by Jon Astley, brought the band on tour in England and Italy. The song “Meltdown Corp.” was included in the annual compilation “The Reverb Conspiracy”, co-released by the highly revered independent label Fuzz Club and The Reverberation Appreciation Society (Levitation Austin). In 2015 their second studio album “As Medicine”, mixed by John Wills of Loop, was released through Picture In My Ear and Fuzz Club and distributed by The Committee To Keep Music Evil. In the next two years the band toured Europe three times, also performing at the Secret Garden Party and Liverpool Psych Fest. They supported bands such as Slowdive, The Vaccines, Savages, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Warlocks. Some of their songs are featured on episodes of Showtime Networks original TV series “Shameless”.

Rendez-Vous + VLURE & Bluebirds

Having spent the last four years roaming the stages of France and Europe, RENDEZ VOUS finally deliver their debut album: SUPERIOR STATE. If taking your time seems like a bit of a luxury in these imperious times, the four boys decided to allow it themselves anyway.

The resulting album shakes and stirs. It was produced by the members of the group themselves and mixed in an old refurbished church in Leeds by Matt Peel (Eagulls, BadBreeding), seasoned practitioner of rugged and ill-discipline English rock. The mastering washandled by Sarah Register (Depeche Mode, Lou Reed, Protomartyr) in New York.

To breathe easier, with less of those 1980s ticks, Rendez-Vous have cut back on the synths and drum machines and recorded with a real drum kit, basing their production on hybrid rhythms. What’s more, the band have now been augmented by a real drummer in the shape of Guillaume Rottier (Quetzal Snakes, Holy Gray)
The aim isn’t just to cause trouble, but to mark time, find a rhythm that’s just right for them and preserve a vital independence. To that end, the group have launched their own label – Artefact (ATF) – through which they are releasing this their debut.

Rendez Vous are Franics Mallari (vocals, bass), Elliot Berthault and Maxime Gendre (synths, machines, backing vocals), Simon Dubourg (guitar). They’ve recently been joined by Guillaume Rottier on drums.
